The Burnout Badge Is Not a Medal
Hustle culture isn’t CrossFit. In the gym, overtraining kills gains. Online, same rules. If you’re pushing commits at 2am and calling it passion, that’s not heroic—it’s destructive. A personal burnout last summer forced me off the laptop and back into recovery mode. I thought it was game over. Turns out, it was just the deload I didn’t know I needed.
You’re Not Starting Over, You’re Starting Differently
A bug in production doesn’t mean the product is broken—it just needs a patch. Same goes for life. That missed promotion, that client collapse, that PR you didn’t hit—those aren’t resets. They’re redirections. Realizing this changed how I defined progress. Not by perfection, but by persistence.
