How I Stay Digitally Fit: Starting Small, Growing Big

We all want to level up—whether it’s in fitness or the digital grind. But sometimes, the biggest challenge is just getting started. As a Weekend Warrior balancing side projects and deadlines, here’s how I stay motivated—and how you can too.

1. Set Micro Goals

Forget trying to ship a million-dollar app overnight. I set super achievable daily goals—tweak one line of CSS, write just 150 words of code documentation. Small wins = steady fitness progress in the digital world.

2. Use The Pomodoro Hack

25 minutes on, 5 minutes off. That’s my heartbeat when I’m battling weekend burnout. It keeps me sharp, focused, and chipping away at big goals one rep at a time.

3. Build in Public (Even Just for Yourself)

Tweet your commits, log your progress in Notion, or use fitgit.me to track wins. Momentum builds when you see your own growth unfold.

4. Celebrate the “Done,” Not the “Perfect”

Nothing fuels me like checking a task off—even if it’s messy. Perfection is the enemy of fitness progress. Just get it done. Tidy it later.

Remember, your digital journey doesn’t require a sprint—it only needs a start. So hit that first key, check off that tiny task, and keep stacking up those reps. You’ve got this!

Always remember to TTFBs!!!
