From Stuck at the Desk to Sticky Habits: A Recipe for Small Wins

As a digital professional, your days are full: meetings, coding marathons, or designing client campaigns. It’s tough to squeeze in fitness when your calendar barely has room to breathe. But when I finally realized I didn’t need an hour—just a habit—I started cooking up a recipe for fitness success that even the busiest can follow.

Step 1: Start with 5 Minutes

Each morning, right after my second coffee (you know the one), I gave myself just five minutes: a few squats, stretches, or a brisk hallway walk. That small step signaled my mind and body to sync, prepping me to take on the day.

Step 2: Spice it Up with Movement Anchors

Attach mini workouts to digital routines—20 pushups before checking email, or lunges after video calls. These anchoring habits become seasoning for your day, and like your favorite recipe, you’ll keep reaching for them.

Step 3: Celebrate the Flavor of Progress

Each micro-win matters. Did you walk a lap while brainstorming? That’s a victory. Track them like a proud chef tracking recipes. Momentum builds with every rep you stir in.

Consistency isn’t about perfection—it’s about starting small, and sticking often.

Always remember to TTFBs!!!
