Reset, Rebuild: A Digital CrossFitter’s Morning

Most mornings, I wake up before the sun. Not because I have to, but because that quiet hour is mine. It’s where I reset—not just physically, but mentally. Being a digital professional doesn’t stop me from being an athlete. If anything, it demands it.

0600 – Grounding

The mat goes down in my living room. Home workouts aren’t lacking—they’re focused. I move through light dynamic stretches, dialing into breath. My laptop hums in the corner, but right now, it can wait.

0630 – Short Burner

EMOMs, bodyweight AMRAPs—short, sharp hits. I’m not chasing PRs at dawn. I’m chasing presence. These moments remind me that discipline isn’t dramatic, it’s daily.

0700 – Digital Dive

After training, coffee in hand, I open my laptop. Slack, code, deadlines. The WOD never really ends—it just changes form. My mind’s clearer. My focus stronger. There’s less reactivity, more response.

We’re more than athletes. We’re digital workers, parents, creators—human. And every day is a new rep. Stay connected, stay real. Always remember to TTFBs!!!
